Weddings
Funkify
are a very successful and sought after wedding band and we play at weddings
throughout the UK.
Our performances at wedding receptions have guests (of all ages) on the
dancefloor from the First Dance until the very last encore, and as a result
we have received many wonderful testimonials from the happy couples whose weddings we have performed at over the years.
We also offer a jazz quartet or pianist for earlier in the day, during the
drinks reception or wedding breakfast. It is often more efficient to book
the afternoon music and the main band together for convenience and for seamless
transitions between music at the reception.
We offer a completely professional service from your enquiry onwards, and
we offer to meet you at the venue in advance of the day. This enables you
ask any questions you may have about the music, talk about the set, location
and timings for the band, and be sure everything is perfect for your special
day
Birthdays & Parties
We play at Birthday parties, ranging from 18ths to 60ths,
as well as garden parties, family celebrations, theme parties and other
special events. Whatever the occasion, the band will make your party go
with a swing and fill the dancefloor from the word go. We are happy to learn
a special song request for you, and for themed parties we can fit in with
the theme of the event. Funkify is sure to get your guests partying well
into the night, dancing to all their favourite tunes and singing along!

evening. We also offer a professional booking service, complete with venue
visit, so that your event runs just as you planned, if not even better!

A complete service – we visit the venue with you, agree the
music with you and ensure everything goes smoothly on your special day.
Band complete with radio mics for the front line – this means
that the singers and the horns can join the dancefloor later in the
evening to really get the party started!
Song requests – let us know your favourite song and if it’s
not currently on our setlist, we will do our best to learn it for you.
We are often asked to learn the first dance for a wedding.
Extra touches – announcements, special requests, microphones
for speeches… just let us know.
Background music via CD, mp3 player or i-pod through our P.A. system
(we have compilations of dinner jazz, soul, pop or rock music to suit
all tastes)
